Our eFlightWorks software runs on both PC (with Windows 2000 through Vista) and Mac (with MacOS 10.4 and later).
Universal binary works equally well with PowerPC and Intel Macs. All data files, from flight recordings to propeller
databases to custom ESC programs, are compatible with all platforms--no matter where a file was created, your eFlightWorks
version will be able to read it. At last, you can use our USB interfaces and eFlightWatt wattmeter/data logger with your favorite computer!
Top 5 reasons why you should buy our interface:
- For unsurpassed simulation experience, the resolution of our v.4 interface has been increased to 10 bits (1024 steps), while most other interfaces only offer 8-bit resolution (256 steps). Thanks to 40MHz 16-bit microchip, all data processing is done with 16-bit precision and only the output signal is rounded to 10 bits.
Only our interfaces offer internal signal calibration and arbitrary channel re-mapping:
- Internal calibration accounts for the signal signature of a particular transmitter and "stretches" its signal to cover the full 0...1023 span. This not only improves the accuracy of the control, but also eliminates the requirement to calibrate the interface in Windows Control Panel--you can take the interface to a new computer and it will work without additional joystick calibration.
- Channel re-mapping allowes one to use our interface with simulators requiring particular channel mapping as well as simplifies configuration of all simulators.
The new v.4 interface supports firmware updates: when a new version of firmware is available, you can download and update it from your computer using our eFlightWorks software. Your v.4 interface will never get obsolete, no matter what changes Microsoft or Apple implement in their next operating system or what new radio systems appear on the market!
- Only MileHighWings interfaces implement CCPM signal un-mixing, which permits using entry level CP heli transmitters (like E-flite Blade CP or E-Sky CCPM) with flight simulators. Only our v.4 interface supports Walkera PCM transmitters.
- Only our new v.4 interface offers 'Output PPM' and 'ESC Control' modes.
With 'Output PPM' (please refer to FAQ for a list of 'PPM Output' compatiable transmitters), you can control your transmitter from a PC, even play back previously recorded flights. 'ESC Control' mode allowes you to control or program an ESC. For anyone, who tried programming an ESC with a TX stick, it's an indespensable feature!
Our new eFlightWorks software permits recording of the channel signals in 'Input' mode, then playing it back to the transmitter in 'Output PPM' mode. 'ESC Programming' mode automates configuration of virtually any ESC, which can be programmed with transmitter sticks.
- We ship all orders either on the same day or on the next business day. Our on-line inventory is always up to date: if you can place an order, this means that the item is in stock and will be shipped to you as soon as your payment is received.
- Our v.4 interface was designed and is made in the US (from the component manufactured in the US, Japan, China, and other countries). It is rigorously tested throughout the manufacturing and before shipping.
